OTTAWA — The honorable Stanley Haidasz, Minister of State responsible for multiculturalism during his recent trip to Rome called, together with Mrs. Haidasz, on His Beatitude Cardinal Josyf Slipyj, Patriarch of the Ukrainian Catholic Church and held discussions on several topics of mutual concern. The Patriarch received the Minister and Mrs. Haidasz in His residence.

Thereafter he proceeded to Rome where he visited the Church of Our Lady of Zhyrovets and the adjoining Ukrainian Museum.
I stand for God, the Church, my Country. Compared with the suffering of my nation, my own fate is unimportant.
