August 1, 1976 during Parade at 6:00 P.M.
I am in the United States 46 years. I came to this country to find freedom to serve my Church and my people. I spent the best years of my life In education. I founded the St. Basils Academy and Manor Junior College, and many, many parochial schools. I was proud of our achievements. Now at 88 years of age I must join a protest line because Moscow together with the Vatican are destroying the Ukrainian Catholic Church. Even the Primate of our Church Patriarch Josyf Cardinal Slipyj was not permitted to come to this Eucharistic Congress.
